Image output delay test of G1 camera module

G1 camera module, which is a fully functional camera module combination developed by Huaxing Video, includes the camera mainboard, camera module, and an additional WIFI expansion board / network expansion board can be superimposed according to requirements. The G1 camera module has rich expansion interfaces and can support various image output methods, such as USB output, HDMI output, network port output, Wifi output, etc.

There will be a certain delay in the camera image output, and different output methods will have different delay times. The following is the delay test of different output methods of the G1 camera module.

1. USB output

The delay time is approximately 200-300ms;

The factors affecting USB delay include: computer configuration, material of the USB cable;

The better the computer configuration and the better the material of the USB cable, the lower the delay of the USB output image.

2. HDMI output

The delay time is approximately 0-100ms;

The factors affecting HDMI delay include: material of the HDMI cable;

The better the material of the HDMI cable, the lower the delay of the HDMI output image.

3. Network port output

The delay time is approximately 200-260ms;

The factors affecting the network port delay include: network situation, network port rate, material of the network cable;

The better the network situation, the higher the network port rate, and the better the material of the network cable, the lower the delay of the network port output image.

4. Wifi output

The delay time is approximately 380-450ms;

The factors affecting Wifi delay include: transmission distance, environmental signal, interfering equipment;

The shorter the transmission distance, the better the environmental signal, and the fewer the interfering equipment, then the Wifi the lower the delay of the output image.
