Requirement instructions for the memory card of the G1 camera module

G1 camera module is based on Huaxing VideoiCatch ChipDeveloped full-featuredCamera moduleCombination, storage type is external TF card. After you get the G1 camera module, if you need to take photos or record videos, you need to insert a TF memory card first.

* Without inserting a memory card, the G1 camera module can also obtain camera images through USB and RTSP video streams through the network port or WiFi.

The G1 camera module's recording video resolution is set to 4K30fps by default, so there are certain requirements for the TF memory card:

1. TF card memory capacityMaximum support512G；

2. TF card reading and writing speed level isClass 10and above, it is recommended to use a TF card with a speed grade of U3.

If you cannot take photos or record videos normally by pressing buttons or using the APP after getting the G1 camera module, please check whether the TF memory card meets the above two requirements. If conditions permit, you can try to replace the TF card that meets the requirements. If the TF memory card does not meet the requirements, the G1 camera module cannot record videos normally.

Memory card read and write speed level description:

The memory card has two functions: "read" and "write". "Read" means reading, which can be simply understood as taking out the contents in the card; "write" means writing, which can be simply understood as storing the contents outside into the card. Taking photos and recording videos are both writing to the memory card.

Because of this, memory cards have two speeds, one is the "read speed" and the other is the "write speed", and the write speed is what we use when taking photos and videos. The write speed value is indicated by various symbols according to regulations. There are currently three write speed levels: Class level, UHS speed level, and VSC video speed level.

If the memory card is marked with C10, it means its write speed is at least 10MB/S.If the memory card is marked with U3, it means its write speed is at least 30MB/S.
